Broker Check

How We Get Paid

Because of our dual investment management and security registrations, we can offer you both investment advisory services and brokerage services. We offer a multitude of services and different pricing structures. We can help you determine what level of service and pricing structure is appropriate for you.

Financial Planning Fee

Financial planning fees vary and can be ongoing dependent upon a client’s specific and growing needs. This may range from a full financial plan to specific planning (i.e. college planning, debt management, investment review, risk management plan and/or any segmented plan needs.)

Retainer

It "reserves" the time and expertise of our advisors, making them accessible to the client for an agreed-upon time. The amount of the retainer fee can vary and may be a flat fee or an hourly rate. Retainer fees are typically 0.2% of the Gross Estate or Gross Business Value. They are paid quarterly in arrears beginning the quarter after implementation and engagement begins.

Assets Under Management

Management fees range from 1% to 2%, depending on the amount of assets being managed. These are paid quarterly in arrears. AUM fees are automatically drafted from the investment account.

Commissions

A commission, in financial services, is the transaction fee charged by a broker for giving advice and executing transactions for a client. The transaction fees vary depending on the securities purchased.

Hybrid Advisors are dually registered with registered investment advisors and broker dealers. This dual registration enables them to offer a diverse variety of investment options for their clients. Financial Planning, Retainer, and Assets Under Management fees are billed by Hybrid Advisors to Strategic Financial Concepts, SFC.
