Brett has 28 years of experience in law enforcement, working with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department and the Oklahoma City Police Department. Throughout his career, he has gained invaluable experience in areas such as enforcement, investigations, administration, and specialized units, including the Bomb Squad. Brett's dedication and hard work have earned him numerous letters of appreciation, letters of commendation, a lifesaving award, and the 2008 SR Bryant Community Service Award.
Brett's introduction to the financial industry was a unique one. He initially came to NFA as a client seeking a financial plan and was impressed with the customized plan and level of service he received from his financial advisor, Sandi Hegeman. During his time as a client, Sandi recognized Brett's transferable skills and suggested that he consider working in the financial industry. Brett took her advice and left his law enforcement career to help others achieve their financial goals. Brett holds his Series 65 license along with his Oklahoma insurance producer license. Brett is familiar with the Oklahoma State Pension and appreciates working with Municipal, State, and Federal employees in Oklahoma. He enjoys using his expertise to help all clients navigate the complexities of financial planning and set achievable goals.
